Richard Clark
Director

Richard Clark has served as the director for housing and residential life since 2004. He received his bachelor’s degree in communication from Northern Michigan University, a master’s degree in counseling from Eastern Michigan University, and an MBA from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He currently is completing his doctoral degree in public affairs at UNLV. Clark has worked in housing for more than 20 years and has worked in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, and Nevada.
Tem Sedgwick
Assistant Director for Residential Life

Tem Sedgwick, serving as assistant director for residential life, coordinates the residential life program, including supervising live-in professional staff, recruiting and selecting of graduate assistants and coordinating assessment efforts. Sedgwick has a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and psychology from Central Washington University, and a master’s degree in counseling from the University of Wisconsin - Platteville. Sedgwick has worked or studied at 10 institutions around the country and abroad, and has called Las Vegas home since 2004.
Jennifer Gray
Assistant Director of Housing Administration

Jennifer Gray, who has served as the assistant director of housing administration since 2006, oversees the assignments process, student accounts, marketing, and the central administration team. She received her bachelor's degree in political science from West Virginia University and her master's degree in higher education administration from the Ohio State University. Gray has worked at both public and private institutions in judicial affairs, residential life, and housing administration in New Hampshire, Florida, Long Island, and New York City for the last 10 years.
Alli Myers St. John
Residential Life Coordinator
allison.myers@unlv.edu Alli Myers St. John joined the staff in 2003 as a residential life coordinator and has been a residential education coordinator since 2006. She coordinates and oversees the student staff selection and training processes, including the resident assistant class. Myers St. John also works with all thematic or special interest housing, forming partnerships with university members to create seamless living and learning programs for residential students. She also helps link residential students with UNLV faculty through faculty programming initiatives. Myers St. John completed her graduate work with a master’s degree in counseling and student personnel at Oklahoma State University.
Leslie Wallenfeldt
Residential Life Coordinator, Upper Class Complex
leslie.wallenfeldt@unlv.edu Leslie Wallenfeldt has been a part of our team since 2003 as a residential life coordinator. She oversees the Upper Class Complex, including the global and hotel thematic living environments. Wallenfeldt devotes much of her time to intercultural education and training with students and staff. Her previous work experiences have included teaching English as a second language both overseas and in the United States, as well as having a background in family, international, and graduate housing. Wallenfeldt received her master’s of science in counseling and student personnel and specialization certificate of international studies from Oklahoma State University.
Eric Morrow
Residential Life Coordinator, Dayton Complex
eric.morrow@unlv.edu Eric Morrow has served as the residential life coordinator of Dayton Complex since 2006. He also supervises the resident assistants, a multicultural assistant, and the assistant residential life coordinator, and oversees the day-to-day operations of the Dayton Complex. He received his bachelor's degree in criminal justice from University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh, and his master’s degree in counseling and college student personnel from the University of Southern Mississippi. Morrow has lived and worked in university housing programs in Wisconsin, Mississippi, and Houston, Texas for a total of nine years.
Erika Bowles
Residential Life Coordinator, South Complex
erika.bowles@unlv.edu Erika Bowles has served as the residential life coordinator of South Complex since the summer of 2008. She oversees the day-to-day operations of South Complex and supervises resident assistants, a multicultural assistant, and the assistant residential life coordinator for South Complex. Bowles received her bachelor’s degree in sociology from Western Washington University. She earned a master’s degree in counselor education, student personnel in higher education from North Carolina State University where she worked as a resident director for three years.
Michael Gordon
Assistant Residential Life Coordinator, Tonopah Residence Hall
michael.gordon@unlv.edu Michael Gordon came to Las Vegas from Cape Town, South Africa in September 2006 on a Rotary International Ambassadorial scholarship. He received both his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in private law from the University of South Africa. Gordon serves as the assistant residential life coordinator for Tonopah Residence Hall. He graduated from UNLV in May 2008 with a master’s degree in public administration and is currently enrolled in the doctoral program. He hopes to one day ensure the continued existence of ethical governments worldwide.
Sara Campbell
Assistant Residential Life Coordinator, South Complex
sara.campbell@unlv.edu Sara Campbell joined us from Radford University where she was a resident director for 2008-2009 and enrolled in the MBA program. Currently she is pursuing a master’s degree in education with a concentration in educational leadership. She is a graduate assistant for housing and residential life, and currently is the assistant residential life coordinator for South Complex. She works as an advisor for South Complex Council, and oversees the daily operations of South services for the complex.
Rachel Spaulding
Assistant Residential Life Coordinator, Dayton Complex
rachel.spaulding@unlv.edu Rachel Spaulding joined us from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where she had been a resident assistant for two years. After graduation, she served full time as an AmeriCorps VISTA, coordinating Big Brothers Big Sisters and America Reads at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Currently Rachel is pursuing a master’s degree in higher education leadership and is the assistant residential life coordinator for Dayton Complex.
Seth Korn
Graduate Assistant
seth.korn@unlv.edu Seth Korn joined us from the University of Rhode Island in 2008 where he was a resident assistant for two years. He currently is pursuing a degree in school counseling (K-12) and is the graduate assistant for residential education. He works closely on Resident Assistant training, selection, class and the Red Wagon team.
Amanda Hurst
Resident Assistant, South Complex
amanda.hurst@unlv.edu Amanda Hurst works in the Upper Class Complex as the assistant residential life coordinator. Hurst previously served as a resident assistant in the South Complex for three years. In May 2009, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sociology from UNLV and is working on her master’s degree in criminal justice.
Melissa Hengst

Born and raised in San Antonio, Melissa Hengst is a UNLV graduate who has been part of our team for more than two years. She completes and maintains all daily and long-term administrative functions of the office.
Chrisey Grubb
chrisey.grubb@unlv.edu Chrisey Grubb has been a team member for nine years. Her primary responsibility is to oversee front office operations and ensure quality customer service. She is also the payroll manager for housing’s student employment program, which involves processing required employment documents for newly hired student employees, collecting biweekly and monthly time sheets, and submitting hours to the UNLV payroll office so that pay checks may be generated.
