| Do you want to know more about how your student is doing at UNLV? Need information about their housing account balances? Campus Housing encourages students to keep in touch with their families and friends while they learn about living independently.
Due to the Family Education Rights to Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1974, UNLV cannot disclose student records to anyone without the student’s permission. This includes parents and legal guardians. In order to discuss your student’s accounts with Campus Housing, students need to fill out, sign, and submit a Permission to Release Information Form (PDF File Format) to the Campus Housing office. This will allow a third party to obtain information only. The student must submit all decisions about meal plans, contract changes, or other special requests to Campus Housing. In addition, all Campus Housing account statements and other correspondence will be e-mailed to the students' RebelMail account. |
