About Check-In
Moving into your residence hall is an exciting time for you and your family.   We want your day to be smooth, easy, and memorable. Check-in Day is a busy day on campus, we are working to help you:

• Avoid the crowds
• Navigate through campus construction
• Unload and unpack safely
• Enjoy this memorable day

We've assigned a specific check-in time for each campus resident. When you come at your appointed time, you'll be able to move in faster and easier.
Please note you must complete the following tasks in order to check-in to your room

• Register and pay for at least 12 credits (full-time status)
• Submit your Residence & Dining Hall contract
• Keep your Campus Housing account up-to-date

Check-In Instructions:
When you arrive to your Check-In Site, follow the signs for your residence hall complex.   All residents have been given directions according to their check-in location in their check-in letter.   You will have an opportunity to unload and park your car.   Residents must go through our Check-In checkpoints in order to gain access to the hall.   Please note the long term and short term parking areas.   Our staff members will direct you through our Check-In process.   Please remember that you will be able to use the elevators to move up into the hall, but you will need to utilize the stairwells to come downstairs.   This will help keep the elevators available for students and families moving into the hall. If you have a mobility issue please let one of our team members know and we will be happy to assist you.

Directions to your Check-In Site at UNLV:
From McCarran International Airport: Exit the airport via Swenson Street. Turn right on Tropicana Avenue and proceed east.

From Interstate 15: Exit I-15 at the Tropicana Avenue East Exit.   Follow Tropicana Avenue (approximately 3 miles).

From US Highway 93 & 95: Exit the Tropicana Avenue West exit and continue on Tropicana Avenue (approximately 6 miles).
