The security of the residence hall community is a shared responsibility between the residents and the university. In order to enhance the security of the residence halls, all exterior doors are kept locked 24 hours a day. Student staff (known as resident assistants, or RA’s) and UNLV Public Safety personnel also monitor the exterior and interior of the halls in person. In addition, emergency telephones are located throughout campus.
