Are you interested in working while you attend UNLV? Working on campus is a good way to support yourself through college and to also become involved in life on campus! Listed below are links to the applications of employment opportunities available to you in the residence halls. Some positions are paid hourly and some offer room and board.
When you are hired for ANY on-campus job, you will be required to provide original identification documentation. UNLV requires one picture ID (i.e., current driver's license or state ID card) AND a Social Security Card or birth certificate. Be sure to bring these items with you to avoid any delays in receiving a paycheck.
Resident Assistant
Resident Assistants (RAs) have direct responsibility for helping develop community within their floor, primarily by providing community building activities, enforcing policy, encouraging positive interactions, and contributing to the development of their residents. RAs receive room and board and a monthly stipend.
Computer Lab Monitors
Resident Computer Lab Monitors assist residents with many common questions about the Internet, e-mail, or utilizing Microsoft Office. They are also responsible for cleaning and maintaining the computer labs.
Office Assistants
Office Assistants assist in the day-to-day operations of various Campus Housing offices. They answer questions, take service requests, distribute sporting equipment, sort students' mail, and help with other office duties.
Student Network Technicians
Student Network Technicians are involved in various technology-related issues such as connecting students to the Internet, or assisting in maintaining the computer labs.
Facilities Team Student Workers work closely with the Facilities staff to maintain a clean and pleasant environment within the residence halls.
