How does my Dining Plan work?
- Your Dining Plan is made up of a Block of Meals at the Dining Commons (“the DC”) as well as Dining Dollars (DD) for additional food purchases around campus at Retail Locations (see locations section)
- A Block represents the number of meals provided in your Dining Plan per semester
- The DC is open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Monday through Friday, Brunch and Dinner are served on the weekends and an additional meal called “Late Night” is served Sunday through Thursday
- Each time you enter the DC, your RebelCard is swiped and one meal is subtracted from your Block Plan
- Your Block of Meals is good for the entire semester but it DOES NOT roll over from fall to spring semester

What are Dining Dollars?
- The amount of Dining Dollars you receive depends on the Dining Plan you select.
- Dining Dollars are a bonus to your Dining Plan and allow you to purchase food at other UNLV Dining locations around campus.
- Locations include Starbucks and Jamba Juice among others at the Student Union, the Book’N’Bean at Lied Library, Burger King and Pizza Hut in the Sidewalk Café and the new Balance Café at the Student Recreation and Wellness Center.
What dining plan is best for me?
How you use your meal plan depends upon a variety of factors. UNLV Dining offers these questions to help you determine what dining plan may best fit your needs.
Do my Dining Dollars expire?
Dining Dollars conveniently roll over from Fall to Spring but must be used by the end of Spring Semester. They do not carry over to Summer or the following Fall.
Can I change my Dining Plan?
Students may request a Dining Plan change during the third week of classes at the Campus Housing office (HAB). There is a $10 processing fee to change your plan.
How do I eat if I lose my RebelCard?
Report it immediately to both RebelCard Services and UNLV Dining (702) 895-3858. You will be allowed meals for one day while you get your new RebelCard.
Are Dining Plans only for students living on campus?
Students who do not live on campus may purchase a Rebel Dining Plan. For more information, visit www.unlvdining.org or the RebelCard Office.
