The SCH Office Manager performs a crucial role in the process of establishing and maintaining efficient administrative services that allow for a responsive, service-oriented Summer Conference Housing program. Fundamental to the Manager is the concept of being a "role model." The Manager must be exemplary at all times, especially in levels of maturity, responsibility, judgment, conduct, and scholarship.
Prerequisites
Upon applying for a SCH Office Manager position, you must:
- Be a currently registered student at UNLV
- pass a background check.
- Have one year Conference Housing or related field experience
- Be a self-starter and self-motivated
- Have strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Have the ability to teach others
- Have a desire to learn and succeed.

Duties
As an SCH Office Manager, you must:
- Be knowledgeable of all administrative policies and procedures that must be implemented in Summer Conference Housing operations.
- Provide leadership that promotes trust, cooperation, and high levels of performance to the Summer Conference Housing Team Members.
- Develop effective working partnerships as a means to expedite and improve services for our guests.
- Participate in the staff team meetings as deemed appropriate and necessary.
Incentives for Participation
- Compensation is currently a single room, board, and a $200.00 per week (paid monthly).
