General Questions

Can I change my room assignment?
Once our assignment is made, you cannot change your assignment until the third full week of classes. Changes are made on a space-available basis.

I need to move in earlier than my assigned check in day. What do I do?
You may request an early arrival by completing and mailing your Early Arrival request form. Please keep in mind that your room may not be available for an early arrival and that you may be charged a fee for moving in prior to Check-In Day.

I did not receive an assigment packet. What do I do?
All students will receive Campus Housing correspondence via their RebelMail account. Please make sure you have activated your RebelMail account and that you are checking that account regularly. Campus Housing does not recommend that you forward your RebelMail to another e-mail account.

What if I have not received a room assignment?
It is possible that we are still assigning your placement and/or preparing your notification. If you have any questions please contact us by e-mail or by calling (702) 895-3489

I don't want a roommate. How do I get a single room?
Singles are very difficult to get, and are often assigned at Housing Re-Application (the process where our current residents choose their rooms for the following year).

Who is my RA?
Your RA is your Resident Advisor. She/he is an upper-class student leader and a staff member of Campus Housing empowered to facilitate your housing experience. Your RA is a mediator, listener, organizer, policy enforcer, and a role model in your community. We hope that you will have a great experience with your RA as you become a member of our community.

What if I am an early arrival student?
If you have been approved for an early arrival, or if you need to arrive later, you must make arrangements for your arrival according to your check-in letter.   Please keep in mind that our Residential Life staff may not be immediately available outside of these times and that our check-in services will not be in full effect.   Please remember that you may be charged a fee for arriving early and/or may need to move into a temporary space until your fall assignment begins.   All Check-In processes will close daily at 10:00pm

Do I need extra-long sheets?
No, you do not need extra long sheets.   All of our beds are standard size and require standard-size sheets.   If you request an extra long bed you should bring extra long sheets.   Extra-long bed requests must be made prior to your arrival on campus.
